Viga Toys makes beautifully built wooden activity equipment for early years — the wall panels and climbing frames found across nurseries, playrooms and waiting areas. The range falls into two halves. The activity panels are wall-mounted boards covered in things to twist, slide, trace and match — a bear, a crocodile, an aeroplane, a rainbow and a three-section train, plus a push-along crocodile walker — each packed with gears, bead mazes, mirrors, xylophones and shape puzzles that build fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Being fixed to the wall, they're always there and never packed away, so a child can drift over, fiddle for a few minutes and wander off — a low-pressure quality that suits many children better than a toy demanding they sit down. The climbing range is Pikler-inspired: a triangle, a board, an arch that flips into a rocker, and a set combining all three, in beechwood and plywood, meeting a child's need to climb safely and indoors.
