Shaw Magnets

Shaw Magnets makes the magnetic exploration kit used across UK classrooms and sensory rooms, wands, counting chips and marbles that work together as a system. The wands are the way in: 19cm, easy to grip, with the magnet sealed inside, and available singly in five colours or as a set of all six. Point one at a magnetic counting chip and the chip leaves the table on its own, crosses the air, and lands with a click, cause and effect your child made happen from a distance, repeatable as many times as they want. The chips are transparent with a steel ring, so they double as light panel pieces, and come in sets of 100 or tubs of 500. The magnetic marbles link to each other as readily as to a wand, trailing into chains that get dragged across the table until they break. All of it does quiet work on grip, fine motor control and colour recognition while a child is busy thinking about magnets.
