Redtoys makes ultralight balance bikes built around a single number: weight. The Cruiser is 2.5kg and the Mini-Cruiser 2.2kg - light enough that a child can pick the bike up themselves, right it after a tumble, and correct a wobble with their own body rather than being pulled over by the frame. That difference is what lets balance actually land, and it's why a heavy bike so often doesn't. Both are moulded from fibreglass-reinforced nylon rather than metal, so they can live outside without rusting or seizing up in a shed, and both have height-adjustable saddles - from 32cm on the Mini-Cruiser, so feet reach the ground from day one. Structural parts carry a three year warranty. The Love Sensory Redtoys range covers both bikes: the Mini-Cruiser for ages 2-5, and the Cruiser for ages 3-6.
