Gonge Floor Surfer Body Board

A body board on wheels, developed with children's physiotherapists so it works for any child regardless of motor skill level.

The details are the point. The raised front supports the coccyx sitting up and the sternum lying down; the tapered nose gives the arms room to pull; the wheels are screened so fingers can't get run over. Double ball bearings mean it rolls with very little effort — which matters for a child who tires quickly.

Play and therapy in the same object. Lying prone and pulling along the floor is deep proprioceptive work.
